It appears to be time to work on taxes again so that's what I'm doing this morning. I think I have all the W2's and 1099's I need so off I go.
Providing I get the taxes done early enough today we will likely take the horses out for ride. They haven't been out since last Sunday and it's time. We had something going on every evening this week that kept us from riding them. I have been doing ground work with Dustie though almost every day. She is definitely showing improvement every time I work with her. I think the sun is going to come out today again and if it does I'll give her a bath. She is filthy from laying down in the mud and in the manure in her stall. Even though I clean her stall every day she still manages to make a mess then lay in it. Sometimes I think she is part pig. :)
Friday evening we went to the Roseburg/Sheldon basketball game to watch Anna play in the pep band. Anna is doing well with her saxophone though right now she is using a borrowed horn from the school while hers is in the shop for repairs. Her horn should be done at the end of February. It needed new pads and some general adjustments so we took it to a repair shop in Eugene. The price tag on the repair is around $750 (ouch) but that is much less than buying a new instrument and besides Anna loves that horn. When we get it back I'll post a close up shot of it. We bought it from a from of ours about 30 years ago and it's set in the case most of those years until a couple years ago when Anna started playing it in band.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and don't forget to get on your taxes, if you haven't already.
